Anthony's on the Delaware, Restaurant Review

Anthony's On The Delaware is a fabulous restaurant located at 1451 Radcliffe Street in Bristol, Pennsylvania. The area where Anthony's is situated in Bristol's most adorable section, and the food, as well as the staff, is out of this world.

Open for both lunch and dinner, Anthony's offers a wide menu selection ranging from salads and sandwiches to appetizers and unique dinner selections. For lunch, try a bowl of Anthony's New England Clam Chowder; it's rich, creamy and delicious. The French Onion soup is also divine, the croutons were perfectly crisp and the cheese was wonderfully browned and melted. Salad selections include their Cajun Salmon Caesar Salad, which includes romaine, olives, croutons and their own Tuscan Caesar dressing topped with freshly grilled salmon filet. All salads are served with delicious garlic bread. The Soup & Salad Combo makes a great meal.

Sandwiches from Anthony's On The Delaware are also a great option for lunchtime fare. The Chicken Supreme sandwich is a blend of marinated chicken, proscuitto, spinach, red peppers and provolone served on a fresh roll. Their "Build A Burger" option is wonderful, the burger patty is made from fresh Angus beef and you can chose from a variety of toppings to create the perfect burger for you. The Tuna Wrap or the Chicken Caesar Wrap would also be wonderful selections from lunch.

If you're stopping in for dinner, be sure to try Anthony's Bacon Wrapped Scallop appetizer. The fish is cooked to perfection, the bacon is crisp and the combination is wonderful. Other great appetizer options include the Mozzarella Bricks; Anthony's hand made mozzarella sticks battered with specially seasoned breading and served with their own homemade marinara sauce. Their Brushetta and Calamari are also equally delicious.

For your entrée, Anthony's is sure to have something you'll love. It might even be hard to decide, the menu is fast, distinctive and quite varied. If you're in the mood for a pasta dish, their Penne ala Vodka is the best! The sauce is creamy and smooth, flavored exceptionally and the pasta is cooked perfectly, and the meal is served with garlic bread. The River's Edge Filet is also a great dinner pick, it's seasoned well and cooked exactly as you specify. If you're wanting a fish dish, try the Tina's trio, which is a platter mixed with Jumbo Shrimp, scallops, crab and served with their fabulous garlic butter sauce. The Sesame Tuna is also a wonderful option, a generous cut of tuna is coated in sesame seeds then broiled to absolute excellence.

Other exciting dinner options include Anthony's Polynesian Chicken, served with a tasty mango sauce, as well as rice and fresh vegetables. Their Mixed Grille is a combination platter of tender beef filet, mild Italian sausage and chicken, served with both green peppers and potatoes. They also have a Vegetable Stir Fry, perfect for vegetarians as it includes mushrooms, zucchini, squash, broccoli and onions served over a bed of fried rice and a sesame teriyaki sauce.

Anthony's On The Delaware also offers banquet facilities as well as catering service. A children's menu is available and they also host monthly Comedy Shows. It's a fabulous local restaurant with a lot of charm, fabulous food and friendly service.
