The Australian based anti-smoking group, Quit, are furious over a new slate of ads that have been produced. The ads were made to help showcase Beyonce's upcoming Aussie concerts. When the ads were created, the designers were looking for something creative and playful looking. They ended up creating large posters that feature Beyonce holding an old-fashioned cigarette. Quit believes that advertisement thus promotes a smoking product, which is illegal in Australia.
Quit's response towards the images is a bit over the top many believe. The ads were simply produced to show Beyonce in a playful nature. Other photos taken for future posters to be made shoe Beyonce posing with live alligators. PETA has taken the opportunity to attack the superstar for the ads. They have been looking for a chance to get the superstar on some other matter than the fur coats she always wears. It appears that Beyonce may pull all the ads when a decision is made.
Everyone is waiting to see if someone else is going to step forward. Beyonce's photos have seemed to offended several different sections of the public. Although they were not intentional, the advertisements are causing people to look at Beyonce in a different light. Quit and Peta are extremely upset with the star's choice of props and wanted to let everyone know about that. Time will tell what will actually come next in regards to the matter. Stay tuned to my site for more and more information as it comes in.
