Assuming all brown colored drinks taste bad, because one or more previous taste samplings, suggested its possibilities, of course is an assumption based upon stupidity. Just as assuming all white liquids taste bad, because butter milk and soured out of date milk did, is another assumption based upon ignorance.
Curious, not too quick to draw conclusion people, will discover more of the good of this world, whether in reference to adding more good tasting foods and drinks to their menu, or in reference to discovering more good people to add to their true friends list. (Quick draw to conclusion thinkers, are likely to accomplish less in this life time, than others, unless they overcome their false conclusions of the past).
Even if a news media, because they want to stir a certain crowd a certain way, only wants to display racists attitudes of a certain color, this in no way changes the reality of life. Racists come in all colors. (Any, that deny this fact, are displaying a lack of intelligence).
If you feel discriminated against, because of your size, your age, your race, or your sex, you are not alone. Everyone experiences being discriminated against. You may not get a job because you are too attractive or too unattractive, too wise or too dumb, because you fear God, or because you don't.
However, drawing the conclusion, you have been discriminated against, because of a reason listed above, may be a false conclusion. Accurate visions of reality in this world, do not come easily and may take a life time or longer to master. When we think we know it all, we have malfunctioned. Let us give life our best try and dodge the obstacles, the best we can. If at first we don't succeed, quit, or get up and try again.

Post a CommentYou wrote, "If at first we don't succeed, quit, or get up and try again" - you would be in good company. Four of the most successful men in history failed miserably at their first and second attempts. They are: Abe Lincoln (bankrupt store owner, postmaster with the worst efficiency rating), FDR (flunked out of Law school), Dwight Eisenhower (rejected 3 times for command positions) and Harry Truman (Bankrupt shop owner, worked 15 yrs to pay off debt) Imagine the world history books w/o these 4 men if they decided not to try again. Cheers ;)
Excellent recipe for anitidotes against racism.
