Post a CommentIt is written in Revelations...war will always keep going on till the end of time, with brief interludes of peace. War definitely sucks but we live in a fallen world and until and only the end comes and we are faced with our maker, will the wars of poverty, injustice and everything else we fight about...come to an end. Great poem with such few words.
Unortunately, Kady the Hippie, peace is merely an interlude, succumbing as it does to the dictates of aggression, greed, control, and dominance.
Very true. Like Mr Reynolds said below, war is constant, occasionally interrupted by brief outbreaks of peace.
War sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
All We are saying ....... is give peace a chance. Good Job Miss Kadyken
War is awful.
Beautifully expressed !!!
Thank you for this very poignant piece...as long as war exists...tender hearts will weep.
All war being evil and all peace being fleeting, humanity has shed, and will shed, millions upon millions of tears. We can only keep pressing on, and praying, for those brief respites.
