Apache Junction, Arizona's Carefree Manor RV and Mobile Home Park

I Rate This Park a 10 Out of 10

Apache Junction's Carefree Manor RV Park and Mobile Home Park has wonderful, let me repeat that, wonderful breakfasts! We have been to a lot of parks but this one takes the cake when it comes to knowing how to serve a great breakfast. You get lots of food and several choices.

OK, on with the things you really came to find out about this park. We pulled in not knowing what to expect but it turned out to be a very well kept mobile home park with great streets wide enough for our 40' motorhome, lots of trees and nice landscaped sites. Sometimes that's not the case when it comes to mobile home parks. The people are super friendly at this park and it's located in a great area with terrain flat enough to ride your bike or walk. It's just a mile or so from the nearest shopping, restaurants, etc. And Mesa is just down the street, too.

We had moved on to Apache Junction from Quartzite. The plan was to do some boondocking in Quartzite but the weather was turning ugly so we decided to get out of the wide open spaces and seek shelter; sort of. Carefree Manor nestles you in so you're protected on both sides, at least the spot they gave us was, so we hardly felt the windy conditions that hit that night.

I mentioned Mesa, AZ because they have a really huge flea market with live entertainment and several choices for lunch. It was a great sunny day, too. Don't miss it!

The park itself has 146 Total RV sites and can accommodate RVs up to 50'! And one thing I liked about this park is that they recycle! You don't find that very often. All spaces have 50 amp service and full hook-ups. The
laundry room holds 14 machines. I don't need to use the laundry so I didn't even peek in there but I know there were lots of people using it everyday.

They have WiFi available, they have a pool and spa and several activities plus a room with a pool table and puzzles, shuffleboard, golf, horse shoes, bowling, bingo, horse races, card parties! These people know how to
have fun. There's so much for everyone. In the summer they have cook outs, BBQs and wienie roasts! Their sunset parties even have a happy hour around a camp fire! Didn't I tell you they know how to have fun!

Oh their rate per night is $25 and the Passport America rate is $12. Check your books or give them a call to see if they accept any other discounts like AAA or Good Sam. We spent one week there and would go back without any hesitation. There's an additional $2.00 a day charge for utilities.

There's a road trip around the Superstition Mountain called the Apache Trail. Don't miss the museum in town either, which houses so much history and folklore for the whole surrounding area. This very scenic trail is an 80 mile road that takes you on a fun filled day of finding gold mines, parks and even a lake! The museum fees are $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for seniors. There is so much history there, I can't even begin to tell you all of it so make sure you check out this wonderful museum and area.

We stayed only one week and it was winter time so many of the activites weren't being held but I would definitely recommend visiting during all 4 seasons. It's a great area and a great park.

Here's some contact information for you in case you don't have the Passport
