The Sabbath can rescue us one and all ... from ourselves. When I work constantly, from dawn till dusk and beyond, how can I stop myself from running in the same spot and not making visible progress? The Sabbath compels me to stop, or slow down enough to understand again the importance of leisure and prayer. Shalom and Amen
