APHRODISIACS & LOVE POTIONS - Ancient Superstitions & Rituals

It took me over 4 years to research my book Aromatherapy & Herbalism - The complete home user's guide. During my research into my book which is an alphabetical list of ancient and new recipies for cures/self-help treatments for both physical and psychological ailments. I show the reader how, with great ease, they can make up recipies using essential oils, herbs and flowers, where to source the things required etc.,

Ok, as I could not fit everything I researched into one book I dedicated the last chapter of Aromatherapy & Herbalism on some of the best and the most weird cures I came across. APHRODISIAC & LOVE POTIONS/SPELLS: - weird and wonderful

* Bulls testicles are a well known aphrodisiac in Spain
* Salt is used in most spells to invoke passion
* Foods that have been used as aphrodisiacs include oysters, apples, asparagus, cabbage, leeks and lizards
* Some spells require that you get a sample of hair from the person you want to seduce
* Other spells require that a part of the person's bodily fluids must be a part of the potion in order to work
* Spanish Fly is a welll-known aphrodisiac
* Rhino horn - I wonder why?
* Marigold flowers
* Gineng
* Periwinkles mixed with powdered earthworms
* Lizards soaked in urine

If erectile dysfunction is the problem, don't worry - the fat from a rabbit's kidneys will soon sort that out!
