Apollo 14 Astronaut Claims Contact HAS Been Made

In a July 23, interview on Kerrang Radio, Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell claims to have inside knowledge about the existence of aliens and UFO phenomenon. During the ten minute interview available on youtube Mitchell speaks to the broad conspiracy at large, as well as giving detail that can be very convincing, even to a skeptic.

When asked by an interviewer if he was convinced that we were not alone in the universe Mitchell's response could be considered by many to be Earth shaking. He responds very simply by saying that ' he knows for sure we are not alone ' Mitchell also openly claims that he has 'been privileged enough' to know that we have been visited by UFO's, and that he has personally made contact with aliens. While this might easily be dismissed as wild ranting from another source, it is somewhat difficult to ignore Edgar Mitchell when he makes this sort of statement.

Although he is a long time believer in paranormal phenomenon, Edgar Mitchell has a number of very impressive credentials to back up his opinions. Dr. Mitchell is probably best known as the lunar module pilot of Apollo 14 and the sixth man to set foot on the moon. Mitchell became a member of The Navy in 1953 where he achieved the rank of Captain, holds a Doctorate in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, and he shares the world record for the longest time spent on the moon at over nine hours. Edgar Mitchell has been featured in the documentary ' In The Shadow of The Moon', and portrayed in the television miniseries 'From The Earth To The Moon.

So exactly what does Dr. Edgar Mitchell divulge about alien contact in this interview? Aside from speaking to the popular belief that UFO proof is being covered up by the United States government, Mitchell also divulges that is his personal belief that the government will soon admit to the existence of aliens. Given that several other governments have recently done so, including Great Britain who has begun a disclosure project of all their UFO documentation, this, in itself may not be farfetched.

Additionally, Mitchell claims to have actually seen the aliens in question. When asked to describe their appearance, Mitchell paints a picture of the small bodied, large eyed, 'greys' that in recent years have pretty much become our standard vision of what aliens should look like. To give peace of mind to those who might find this knowledge frightening, Mitchell says that the aliens are nothing to fear, and that their intentions are not hostile.
