Apollo Park Suites in Colorado Springs, Colorado

I recently had the privilege of traveling to Colorado Springs, Colorado. After much hunting and searching on the Net for hotels and motels, we finally decided to stay at Apollo Park Executive Suites. We are very glad we did.

At first I thought that the name was odd. Executive Suites, eh? It wasn't until we checked in that I got it. The rooms in Apollo Park Executive Suites aren't just rooms; they are more like apartments. In fact, I believe the place is a converted apartment complex. It was really nice.

Located at 805 South Circle Drive, Suite 2B in Colorado Springs, it was centrally located in between all the places we were visiting. Their website says it's convenient, and they aren't lying! Colorado Springs isn't a great big place to begin with, and the placement of Apollo Park Executive Suites was just perfect for our needs.

We lucked out on our travel times, because from September 16th to May 14th the single room suites are a very affordable $55.00 a night. As you probably know, it's possible to stay at some very questionable places for a lot more cash than that. Apollo Park Executive Suites gave an air of safety and was very quiet, even on the weekends. All the tenants kept to themselves unless they were smiling at you as they walked by. It was very enjoyable.

Our suite had a big bedroom, an even bigger living room and a fully stocked kitchen. All we had to do was bring the food. Everything was clean and well tended, and the maid service checked in every day to see if anything was needed. I stayed in touch the whole time with the available WiFi Internet from my laptop. I was thoroughly impressed. And like I mentioned, at $55.00 a night, it simply couldn't be beat.

In short, this author gives Apollo Park Executive Suites a top-notch rating. No, it isn't a Howard Johnson or a Ritz Carlton, but it also isn't a Motor Inn or overpriced Motel 6. For the traveler who needs an affordable and clean home away-from-home, Apollo Park Executive Suites fits the bill quite nicely.
