Apostle 13

Mary Magdelene

Arkay Evans
Without or despite,

I am a woman of the Perfect light.

It is I who first saw the beauty of him risen,

I who wished for my own absence

as not to offend your tender gender,

without or despite,

may God's will be done of and through

this love of mine-

and then, what of you?

I believed to see his truth

in corners of my mind,

Without that faith, I am blind,

but in it I see Ecstasy,

dancing in the privacy existing between

the soul and the spirit,

And this is our place, Levi,

Here is where I receive him

and abundance as favor in the Lord who is risen,

This is where I saw the vision,

This is where I find the audacity to read you,

where without or despite,

I am called to be,

Apostle 13,

as Faith's the only bass you need to hear in my voice,

and HEAVEN the only authority

This is beautiful. I agree with your thought process only I would like to add each person who believes as an apostle

Beautifully written and insightful. Mary was indeed one of his greatest apostles even though she was left out of context in history.
