Apparently, I've Been Sleep-Writing

After a long week, I sat down late one night and pulled up my Profile page on Associated Content finding to my surprise that apparently I had written an article about the TV show Flipper. Since I didn't remember writing it, I was delighted that I must have been creative enough to have done it in my sleep. I clicked on it to see how well written it was only to be disappointed in finding my latest Ramblings article. Maybe I'm not as creative as I thought.

Then I looked back at the Profile page again, and there was an article about somebody named Melissa De La Cruz. Since I don't know who Ms. De La Cruz is, I was suspicious that I might not have done that one either, and sure enough, I pulled up my article on voting that I had published a few days ago.

I checked my calendar again just to make sure it wasn't Halloween and someone was giving me a trick instead of a treat. No, it was definitely November because I remember voting. I went to my old buddy Nancy Canfield's page and clicked on her article about teaching kids about finances (which I thought was a little odd for Nancy to write something educational), and up popped an article about Bubba. That's when I discovered it wasn't just me.

I checked the forum and sure enough, people were carrying on about how this was happening all over AC. I've learned that when a glitch like this happens, eventually the powers that be will fix it after a while, so I decided not to worry about it for a while.

And then it hit me that this might be a good thing. Maybe the person who's got my titles is somebody like Crystal Ray or Millionaire Hoy that's got tons of readers. It might actually help my page view amounts. I wish I could do the same thing for whoever wrote the article about Flipper, but I'm not sure I can. Anyway, good luck to you, whoever you are.

And if I check my PV number tomorrow and they've grown dramatically, I offer my thanks my mysterious benefactor. I need all the help I can get.
