4 C Apples, cored, peeled and chopped
3T Cornstarch
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
3T Cornstarch
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Topping:
1/2 C cold butter
1 C all purpose flour
1/2 C brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 C rolled oats
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish. In a bowl gently toss apples with cornstarch and cinnamon. Pour into baking dish in an even layer, sprinkle sugar over apples. In a seperate bowl combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and oats. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles damp sand. Sprinkle this mixture in an even layer over the apples. Bake in oven for 45-50 minutes or until apples are tender.
