Apple Gabriel Launches His Solo Career with Another Moses

Apple Goes Out on His Own with a Great First Album

Robert Getz
Despite much dismay from his fans Apple Gabriel split from Israel Vibration after 30 years, and has released his first solo album Another Moses on RAS records. Although going through a quiet period after the split, Apple has come out with a great new album packed with his own personal style of reggae .Know for his staccato sound blended with a great sense of melody Another Moses will lift your spirits and set your soul on fire.

Following up years of work with Israel Vibration to launch his solo career, it comes as no surprise that much of his music still has the same sound, since much of the music that they played was written by Apple. Apple whose real name is Albert Craig comes from an incredibly sad start in life beginning with contracting polio at the age of three. While enduring hours of treatments, he taught himself to sing to pass away the time, learning to play the piano by watching his teacher's fingers while she played. He wrote his first song, "Things of the Morning" when he was just ten and has never looked back.

This new solo album is a powerful start to his career as a solo artist that combines his very personal style with new backing musicians, The Zionists. The Zionists are a handpicked group of extremely talented musicians including, Flabba Holt on bass and drums, Tee Birdd on piano and Tuff Lion on guitar. Fans of Apple will not be disappointed with the sound, as they fire up the album with Telepathic Wave, carrying on in a very strong Rasta tradition with the album's title track that burns with true Rasta spirit.

Definitely a must have album for any reggae fan Another Moses brings out the very best of Apple Gabriel, with his new backing musicians, to deliver a strong uplifting sound that will put you in great mood and lift your spirits to soaring heights.
