Apple iPad: Why You Shouldn't Buy This Tablet Device

Many people are very excited about the new Apple iPad and I think for that reason also they will be buying the iPad. When Steve Jobs announced it there were a ton of people talking about the launch. Almost everyone on Twitter was discussing how this is the next item that they want to buy. I think that when it comes to Apple people buy a lot of items that they do not need. I am guilty of this also because I have purchased a MacBook and iMac computer in the past. I love Apple products but I will not be buying an iPad regardless of how many people buy the iPad. The reason is because the iPad is simply just hyped and there is very little that the iPad offers that you actually need. There are many reasons not to buy an iPad and I will explain to you the reasons why I will not be buying an iPad and you shouldn't buy this iPad their despite my love for Apple.

I love the iPhone and Apple MacBook but I already own these two devices, as I am sure many Apple fans do. The problem with this is that if you have both iPhone and MacBook then you have everything that iPad offers. According to the Apple website the price for the iPad range between $499 and $699. The storage ranges between 16GB and 64GB with no 3G coverage and if you want this option then prices range from $629 to $829. If you don't buy 3G coverage for the iPad then it is essentially a bigger iPod Touch or iPhone. However, if you do buy 3G coverage for the iPad then you will need to pay $30 per month for the Internet service on the iPad.

If you do pay the $30 for the Internet service on the iPad then you basically have a bigger version of the iPhone. Also, the iPad will not have a Flash player and will not allow users to multitask. It also does not include a camera and that makes the iPad even worse than the iPhone. The iPod Touch is $299 for 16GB of storage and the iPad will cost you $499 for the same basic versions. Sure, the iPad has a bigger screen but the iPod and iPhone devices have the same abilities and cost a lot less. I suggest you save the money for something better than iPad.
