Apple iPad: Will the iPad Release Disappoint?

Will Steve Jobs Negotiate a Miracle for iPad Viewing of TV and Print Media?

Robert Cooper
With the release of the iPad nearing (April 3rd) it seems Apple Inc. has good and bad things to cheer about. On the positive side, Steve Jobs and Apple Inc., since announcing the Apple iPad has gotten hundreds of thousands of consumers to trust the hype and pre-order the much anticipated new Apple iPaddevice.

Executives at Apple Inc. are projecting that it is even possible that iPad sales could surpass the purchase of iPhones in comparing the first three months of both of the snappy handhelds initial offering. This analysis would suggest that either Apple Inc. as a corporation has an addicted following that is so loyal that anything they release, an iAnything, would be put on the top of their must have list or they truly have hit the bulls-eye straight on with its last two releases.

It is hard to believe there could be any negatives involved then with the Apple iPad device. The iPad itself is not what seems to be the negative but what Apple iPad applications will be available when it is released. While several of the Apple iPhone applications can also be used on the iPad, it seems there has been a snag in the availability of some viewing media.

Television and print media producers are hesitant to bow to the demands being made on them by Apple Inc. because of the conflicts it could cause between them and their other current revenue suppliers which may be the Apple iPad's competition. The iPad developers are back peddling a little in the media so as to let the iPad's pre-paid consumers down gently as to the possibility of the delay in this medium. To deflect the discouragement by some purchasers the makers of the Apple iPad are boasting and highlighting the great gaming capabilities that the new device has available.

So for those individuals that are patiently waiting for their Apple iPad to view their favorite television show you might just have to continue to wait. There are also some concerns by the television and newspaper providers that the iPad does not have the hardware/software combinations to support their current means of distribution.

So when your new Apple iPad arrives, read a book or play a game, that is while you wait for the bugs to be worked out of the other applications that Steve Jobs promised us all.

Don't fret though, if a person's track record is an indicator of their potential and future production, you can be glad that it is Steve Jobs which will be in charge of resolving any issues. And you can bet resolution will be as quick as possible.

How many individuals can you say that about?

So to all you iPad pre-order customers.. Don't fret! Steve is on the job.
