Apple IPod IPhone Products

Apple Inc which was formerly Apple Computer Inc is best known for its iPod product line. Apple as a company was established in 1976. Apple manufactures, sells and supports Mac Computers, iPods, iPhones, and Computer Software. Apple also runs it's well know iTunes store which sells music, movies and tv episodes online. Apple had a very bumpy ride as a company. In the 1900s Apple's personal computers and software suffered a great deal from competitor Microsoft and PC compatible computers which dominate the market. In the 2000s Apple finally started seeing the light at the end of Tunnel with the success of it's iPod product line. iPods are digital media players.

The Success of Apple's iPods has turned Apple from the unknown brand to a widely recognized and appreciated brand name. While iPods were a bit more on the expensive side when they first hit the market, their ease of use and long lasting quality turned many critics into Apple enthusiasts. Additionally Apple provided iTunes as the software for use with iPods. iTunes made it very easy and convenient for the average computer user to enjoy digital media players. At the time iPods came out, only the computer geeks were the ones who knew how to operate and use digital media players. However the combination of Apple's iTunes and great iPods everyone could now use a digital media player. Today there are many iPod models with different prices and features.

Apple also introduced the iPhone in January 2007. The Apple iPhone is an iPod, a Cell Phone, and an Internet browser all in one. The iPhone also is the first touch screen cell phone, this gave Apple an extra edge. Apple's touch screen technology works very well. The iPhone has a virtual keyboard. The iPhone also has a great camera. Apple's iPhone currently only runs on ATT cellular network. The iPhone is also very slick, stylish, and thin. Since the iPhone's release there has been an increasing flow of iPhone applications being developed. The iPhone has been steadily gaining more attention and interest. It's even one of the most anticipated Christmas gifts for 2007. Apple has been criticized for some of the iPhone's short comings. iPhone's have a very slow Internet browsing speed due to it's network setup with ATT. Apple has promised to address many of the iPhone's short comings through software updates and also the release of a second version of the cell phone in the future.
