Apple Needs to Work on Flaws With the iPad

SDR2010
For the last few days now, everyone has been asking me about the Apple iPad and how I was lucky enough to get one of these new Apple iPad devices. I was actually given the new iPad device as a gift because my birthday is coming up, and a friend of mine wanted to get me something I would enjoy. I also own an iPod, so she knew it was something that I would enjoy. She placed the order last month for the 32 GB model that includes Internet only, and I got the iPad in the mail on Saturday. A lot of people have been asking what I think of the iPad device, and I think it is good for what it is intended to do.

The back of the Apple iPad has a nice matte finish that looks great, and I like the large Apple logo on the back of the device because it lets people know that this is a new Apple product. The screen is about the size of three iPod devices, and this means that movies show a lot better. However, I found that when I imported movies that I had already viewed on my iPod the results were not the same. The videos had a lot of pixels, and they looked as is they were recorded off of a non-cable show. I also imported games that I had played on my iPod in the past. You essentially use the same games on the iPad, but you can blow them up to the size of the screen. The problem with this is that the games have distorted colors, and this bothered me because they didn't look so great on the iPad. I assume there will be iPad games that are designed for the device, but they don't look so great as of right now. I also noticed that flicking around the pages of the iPad was a little slow because of the lag. My iPad was shipped from China, and I wonder if this is why there is a lag in the software. The iPod seems to feel a lot more natural than the iPad because the adaptor and charger that the device comes with are pretty short and this makes watching movies hard. The device looks great, but I had to buy a screen cover to keep it looking that way and there is a glare on the screen still. It slips out of my hands, and it weighs about three pounds when mobile, but it feels like it could break easily, and it is not responsive to touch.

it would appear the iPad is a work in progress, it needs to be more internet generic: support for flash, alternative browser (firefox) system toolbox, open source community access, usb port .... or it will just fizzle out as a fad

My review of Apple's new IPAD can be summed up in 3 words: "this is bullshit!".
Don't get me wrong, I like Apple and own most of the products they sold over the years - but this time
they really have treated their costumers like complete morons.
They say that their new IPAD is in a class of it's own and doesn't compete with other Laptops or Tablets
out there - and yet, they sell it for an "amazing price" (official site quote) of $500...
dear Jobs and company: if you intended to sell a huge touchscreen for the price of a Laptop, than at
least you could give it a REAL OS. Something like a Leopard-lite. You know - something that at least
supports multi-tasking. And improve the hardware while you're at it. Put in a decent processor
(preferably an Intel Core 2), better RAM, and A HARD DISK for God sakes!
Yet in the sea of said drawbacks, nothing bugs me more in this new "magical" product than the lack of
a proper USB. Connecting just one device via a special adapter is the reason
