Mary Wensing Dvorachek
Ingredients:

1/3 c. butter (melted)

1/2 tsp. salt

1/3 c. flour

1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)

1 cup rolled oatmeal (do not use instant oatmeal)

6 medium Jonathan apples

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Mix together the sugar, cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg and lemon juice.

Peel and slice the apples and then add to the sugar mix.

Mix the oats, brown susgar, flour and salt, then add the butter and stir with fork until crumbly.

Use a 3 quart baking dish, and coat the bottom with butter, then arrange the apples over the butter and top with the crumb mix.

Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes until bubbly, and golden brown.

Serve warm or cold with ice cream and whip cream.
