Apple Scheduled to Release IPhone Next Month

Everybody has a cell phone these days and the phones coming out are just getting more and complex. Some offering music players, streaming video feeds from your favorite news or sports networks, cameras, and video recorders. With the recent success and popularity of The Blackberry, Apple Computers has designed a revolutionary new cell phone being called the iPhone, slated for release next month.

The phone is being offered through the Cingular/AT&T phone network. The phone cost anywhere from $500.00 to $600.00 depending on what size you prefer. Like many Apple products the phone comes in both a 4GB and 8GB model (Cingular.com). While exact phone plans and prices have not been firmly set as of yet, due to the phones many uses, a minimum phone plan will probably cost about $100.00, although as I've stated nothing has been announced as of yet.

The iPhone is designed brilliantly with a sleek touch screen as opposed to the regular push buttons on the cell phones we use now. Calls can be made by simply pointing to a name in one of "your address book, a favorites list, or a call log" (Apple.com). The iPhone also comes internet ready. You can browse an internet web page and check your email right from your phone and is connect able to either a PC or Mac computer (Apple.com), so all of you PC users do not have to feel left out when it come to getting this phone. Essentially the iPhone offers all the convenience of being in the office, but on your cell phone; so business can be conducted anywhere. Much like The Blackberry but better.

And of course what would a phone be without the capability to play your favorite tunes? Especially a phone by Apple? Yes, you guessed correctly, the iPhone offers a wide-screen iPod for easy access to music wherever you go, and the phone can upload the music from your current iTunes archives (Apple.com). In addition, it has the capability to use your "audio books, videos, TV shows, and movies" (Apple.com), all the things you can access on your iPod, except better because of the crystal clear screen.

Overall the release of the Apple iPhone should be history in the making. It will change the way that people view their cell phones and cell phone usage. Who knows it may even surpass the success and popularity of The Blackberry on the market. Whether you are an avid PC user or a die hard Mac lover, the iPhone has something to offer you.
