Apple WWDC 2009: June 8-12

WWDC 2009

Roy
Following a set pattern of dates, it is no surprise that Apple has announced WWDC 2009 to be scheduled for this June. For those not in the know, WWDC is the World Wide Developers Conference: an event where developers come to receive in-depth information for innovating in Apple's technologies from its engineers. However, WWDC has traditionally been an event where Apple announces new products and updates to software, thus one can imagine that there will be something special planned.

What will be announced for sure:

iPhone/iPod touch 3.0 software update

What might be announced:

New iPhone- likely with the 3.0 update
Mac OSX Snow Leopard- highly likely
Software Updates- Software such as Final Cut Pro, etc.
New Peripherals- 30 inch display?

What will probably not be announced:

New iPods, Macs, etc.

Though nobody knows exactly what Apple will bring to the table, it is almost certain that they will announce something that many have been anticipating for months on June 8, 2009.
