Applebee's in Mira Loma

Going out to eat on Mother's Day has always been such a drag because it would mean long lines and an even longer wait time but it was everything but a drag when the family went out to eat at the Applebee's off from Limonite in Mira Loma. The experience wasn't as hectic as we all pictured it to be because of the special occasion. It was absolutely more than delightful.

The restaurant is decorated in historical artifacts and memorabilia left by celebrities so while you wait you can take the time to look around at all the interesting things on the walls. If you don't feel like looking around at the scenery then you can sit down on the cushioned benches and chat with your family as you wait for your table to be prepared. As you are seated at your table, you are greeted by your waiter for the day. The lighting in the restaurant is slightly dimmed so if you want to eat at a restaurant that you can see then this is not the place for you. While you wait, you can watch television on one of the few flat screens mounted on the walls. There is also a bar for the adults to order alcohol at and a television screening the sports channel for the sports fans.

The waiter of the day was pleasurable and very friendly to joke around with. He was a real people person, which made the experience more enjoyable because he was outgoing and was more than happy to help on making your experience go smoothly. It has very hard to find waiters like him, most waiters especially on Mother's Day would be so stressed out and grouchy that they would ignore your requests or give you an attitude. This waiter not only did his duties as your waiter but also took the time to converse and played along with whatever little jokes you might want to try on him for some friendly laughs. Best of all, he always had a smile on his face.

The menu consisted of a variety of dishes including dishes for weight watchers. It was great to see that the menu had pictures of some of the dishes so you can have a sense of what your dish would look like if you decided to go with that same dish and for those who don't know how to read you can look at the pictures. The prices are not too high but average so you won't be breaking your wallet on eating out here. The dishes are prepared the way you like it so you won't have to send it back to the kitchen. The portions may seem small but once you start eating it, you're going to be full before you even know it. There is no extra charge for refills on drinks so you don't have to be hesitant on asking for refills.

This Applebee's in Mira Loma is a great choice for your eating needs because it offers great service and is conveniently located off the 15 freeway at Limonite.
