Applebee's Neighborhood Grill in Hopkinsville, KY

The Applebee's restaurant located at in Hopkinsville, KY is another one of our family's favorite restaurants. We eat there almost every Monday. The reason we eat there so much is kids eat free. With three kids, that really helps us save money on eating out. My wife and I get the two for $20 meals, which is a great deal. They have chicken, salads, steaks and hamburgers to choose from. This is probably the cheapest place to eat out for a family of five.

Applebee's has great seating arrangements, the booths are large and very comfortable. There is plenty of room at the table for all the food. The bar area is centrally located in the middle of the restaurant. They have television sets up throughout the restaurant with news and sports playing.

The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always courteous. The only downfall about the layout is with the bar in the middle, sometimes the smoke will come over to the non-smoking side. This is not enjoyable for us, but it rarely happens.

The meals are great and they will satisfy your needs for a great price. The sweet tea is made just right. I order the Oriental Chicken salad and my wife usually gets either the ribs or a Zesty Chicken meal. They are both on the two for $20 menu. The kids get chicken and fries. We all get a nice dessert. Altogether for a family of five, we can get out of there with a ticket of less then $30.

Applebee's offers the curb side to go. I have never used it myself, but I have read that it is not the best service. It seems they are slow to bring out the meals. That is not usually the case when dinning in though.

Overall experience is great, with the low prices and friendly atmosphere, you can't go wrong eating there. They also offer a 10% military discount.
