Unknown to most of the populous now, Willcox, Arizona is an epicenter for U-pick apple orchards that supports individuals and communities across southern Arizona and on into southern New Mexico.
Located on I-10 just west of New Mexico, Willcox has a population of about 4,000 and is approximately 90 miles east of Tucson, Arizona. It's a small town that was once the "Cattle Capital" of the U.S. and it hides a menagerie of orchards that are, quite literally, ripe for the pickings.
Here are the apple orchards in the vicinity. Please note that some of these orchards also have other fruits available.
