The Soleus Air SA-150R is a 115-volt air purifier. It is effective in rooms no more than 220 square feet. You can find it for an average price of $190. Let's take a look at some of the features offered by this air purifier.

Mount

This purifier is designed to be mounted on a wall. Therefore, you won't have to devote any floor space to it. All hardware that you need to mount it on the wall is provided for you.

Filters

The Soleus Air SA-150R uses two different types of filters. They include HEPA and activated carbon. It can detect which type of particles are contaminating the surrounding air. It will then switch to an appropriate cleaning mode in order to filter those particles. The HEPA filter handles big particles such as pollen, mold, and dust. The activated carbon filter deals with smoke and other smells.

Control

This air purifier is equipped with a simple three-button control panel. There are three operating modes and four different fan settings. On automatic mode, the UV sensors allow different particles to be detected and effectively filtered. There is also a timer that you can use to operate the unit for a specified period of time. With options of 1, 2, and 4 hours, you can set the timer up to a maximum of seven hours.

The control panel is also equipped with an indicator to let you know how the machine is functioning. A red light means that the machine is purifying the air, while a green light indicates that the machine has already done its duty.

Maintenance

The Soleus Air SA-150R air purifier also offers cleaning indicator lights. After approximately 300 hours of run-time, you will need to clean the filters and grid with a vacuum. Both types of filters should last about two years before they need to be replaced. You can occasionally clean the outside of the device with a slightly moistened towel.

Noise

You'll be happy to know that this air purifier can be used in any room. This includes your bedroom since the unit is very quiet. On its highest setting, it only produces 52 decibels of noise.

If you're looking for a quality air purifier, you should consider the Soleus Air SA-150R. It uses both an activated carbon and HEPA filter to get rid of a wide range of airborne particles and smells. It has UV sensors that help determine which particles are present so that machine can switch to an appropriate operating mode.
