AA
Pleasing others is an addiction;
stretching backing many years ago.
Tight fitting clothes and make-up painted on
won't help and is deeply rooted, you know.
People pleasing becomes a habit
with victims trying to grasp their self worth.
Not knowing who they are or whose they are;
born into sin, confused from birth.
Does agreeing with or doing as they say
make them like you more or are you less stressed?
Does what you do meet the approval of God?
Will you chance not being blessed?
After considering all these things;
then using wisdom and making the right choices.
Rise up and be counted.
Shout out with resounding voices,
"I AM BEAUTIFUL"
