This month's issue covers many Red Burgundy and Bordeaux wines that were scored in the past 30 days by the wine critics.

At the high scoring end, the 2007 Dumol, Chardonnay Sonoma Green Valley Isobel received an average score of 95 points and at $100 is 47% of the average cost of a similar scoring West Coast Pinot Noir which rates it a "Great Value".

At a value index of 19%, the 2007 Columbia Crest, Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley Grand Estates scored 87 points and cost $8 which is 19% of the average $43 cost of similar scoring West Coast Cabernet Sauvignon earning it an "Outstanding Value" moniker.

At the low price of $6, the 2009 ViƱa Santa Rita, Sauvignon Blanc Lontue Valley 120 received an average score of 86 points and is 46% of the average $13 cost of a similar scoring Sauvignon Blanc earning it a "Great Value" moniker.

A total of 1,247 wines are profiled in this issue.
