Child Abuse Awareness Month
Child abuse can occur anywhere and to anyone. We must all be made aware to look for the signs and symptoms of abuse. We cannot look away. Alcohol Awareness Month
Alcohol abuse doesn't just happen to certain people. It can affect people of all ages, sexes and race. No one is immune to alcohol abuse or the affects it has on oneself or to others. Alcohol abuse can happen to everyone from High Schoolers to Senior Citizens. That is why April has been designated as Alcohol Awareness Month. More education and awareness of this disease could possibly and hopefully save a life. Stress Awareness Month
Stress affects millions of Americans each day. The young and old alike. It can affect our mental health as well as physical health. It seems when someone is under stress they tend to suffer in silence and try to deal with it all on their own. Stress Awareness Month is for us to be made more aware of the affects that stress has on us and positive ways we can deal with it. If you are under a great deal of stress I urge to talk to your friend or a family member. They love you and want to be there for you. You don't have to walk this path alone.
I encourage you to look over the list of different causes and issues that are part of April Awareness Month. Find out ways you can help to be part of the solution. Look around you. If someone you know needs some encouragement or help then be there for them. Help them through it.
