April Fool Prayer
Thursday's Prayer
we go against what
is popular and exciting
Paul called it
being a fool
for God
Much of our culture
says success and beauty
is being famous and never appearing old
I believe Jesus says
success is loving and forgiving
Living the faith we profess
Beauty is the awesome
wonder of nature, the innocence of a child,
and the wisdom and love shown in older adults
Have you ever noticed
a picture of Mother Theresa
and not been struck by the glow is her eyes and face?
Yes, we may be fools
But there is no greater
peace than following Jesus
