Stepping into a Technicolor nightmare
Everything out of a ultra-bright 1960's acid hallucination
On the front lines of a sudden influx of the bright and sunny
Through rainbow tornadoes, rabies suffering unicorns
And psychotic Leprechauns with machine guns
Sprouting Tulips and Calla Lilies
An infusion of love and magic fairy dust with each shot
Bullets getting absorbed by Jack Daniels flavored blood
Terror of clock ticking on last seconds getting louder
With the rapid turn of their skinny ant like arms
Chaos thumping around like Bambie caught in large headlights
Hooves sticking to the pavement and still wet yellow paint
Adding shades of magenta hued plasma to the canvas
Searching for a non-existent mother to kiss away the hurt away
Only to feel the sting of the circular wounds
Around the chest, abdomen, and in the right leg
Pain traveling aimlessly through the body
Making every single bone and muscle engulfed in flames
Going away to a white out and ammonia smelling surgical table
Doctors wearing angel costumes, but are really devils
Utilizing their skill through worsening the severity of the wounds
Instead of creating a cure for looming illness and death
Feeling like a chopped up pumpkin given its last rites
All that's needed is a light to seal the deal
In a revolving drain between sunshine and darkness
Looking for a large Mary Poppins umbrella
To lift all human frailty out of the last rites recycling bin
Finding only weaklings instead of superstars
Probably God's ultimate joke to those looking to survive
Realizing they are stuck in this position forever
Time to buy some sensible shoes
