April Showers Rescue Me
Is down on me, down on me
I look up to the sky...
Whenever I feel like this life
Is hounding me, hounding me
I only want to cry...
Then...
April showers rescue me,
When my sun doesn't want to shine...
Heaven's power comes to me,
And I know it's a worth while climb...
Whenever I feel the universe
Is leaving me, leaving me
I look for darker clouds...
Whenever I feel my verses
Are hating me, hating me
I just want to scream aloud...
And...
April showers rescue me,
When I feel there's no hope at all...
Heaven's power comes to me,
I understand there's no need to crawl...
And inside I feel so new...
Inside I can stand so tall...
April showers rescue me,
And I thank the good Lord above...
Heaven's Angels come to me,
And I learn the true meaning of love...
