Aquarian Age Children

Who Are the Indigo Children?

In the near future, 2012 predictions from multiple sources will prove to be true, or not - another precursor to add to the list is Indigo children. Hailed as part and parcel of the Aquarian Age, these children are somehow different.

This group of children is believed to be psychic, and have a whole list of characteristics that identify them. Some say they have incredible eyes, or often they emulate a bluish colored aura. The color Indigo hence became part of the description of these children.

Diane Sawyer interviewed some of these special, psychic children, Oprah Winfrey, too. More and more of these types of children are appearing on the Aquarian Age list of 2012 predictions to watch.

Described as emissaries from heaven, the Indigo children are often mistaken for children with attention deficit disorders. One of the worst things that could happen to an Indigo child is to be placed under mind dulling medication.

The Indigo Children, written by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober describes a few different characteristics to help distinguish Indigo Children from a typical ADHD child. Because of similar traits, the analysis points out the differences, whys and wherefores explaining certain reactions of the Indigo Children.

Indigo Children have a way of seeing right through phony facades. If an Indigo child spots out falsities, or thinks he or she is being lied to, they get angry.

But this reaction is truly indignation, as opposed to that of a short fused hyperactive child.

Basically, Indigo children are brought here to planet Earth for a purpose. All people have to do is listen to them. On the surface they seem like ordinary children in many ways, but they seem to have their own way of knowing.

A contributor to the Indigo Children book writes: "They live profoundly in the now. They appear to stay happy, are very spirited, and have their own agenda."

Multiple descriptions of how to recognize these children are that they have a certain regal air about themselves; they want an explanation about the rules they are given; they don't like rituals, or standing in lines, and are basically non conformist.

Quite often, Indigo children appear to be anti social. The truth is they only associate with children of their own kind. They seem to be aware that they have been placed on earth with a whole different set of circumstances.

Sometimes they tell the parents "who they are."

Murmurings that sound like a scary movie could merely be Aquarian age thinking. Apparently, a rise in the number of young children who kill other children can be attributed to the actions of one particular set of Indigo Children.

There are four groups for categorizing these phenomenal Aquarian age kids: 1.) humanist 2.) conceptual 3.) artist, 4.) interdimensional. The latter group consists of the kids who are larger at infancy and continue to be larger than normal. These are the ones known to be bullies.

Sometimes called Starchild, or Crystal Children, a different slant is provided on a web site called "Starchild Global" along with music and videos.

The idea that Starchild, or Indigo Children are something new to our planet is a topic of controversy. The Starchild site intimates that we now have adult Indigo/Crystal people. These people have been around since the beginning of our first consciousness of the Aquarian age.

The amount of Indigo, Crystal, or Star children coming into the world is increasing rapidly. Will they bring honesty as a mainstream part of consciousness for the Aquarian age?
