Archos 9 Tabelt PC Review

Ever since I heard about the Apple iPad I have been looking for a great tablet device on the market. I have tried a lot of tablet devices but I found that many of them fall short because they lack all of the features that I have come to expect from a computer. Since tablet devices often do not have the same features as a computer I have found tablet devices hard to use and very difficult to actually get any use out of without attempting to go out of my way to find a use for the device. However, this was not the case with the Archos 9 Tabelt PC because this device essentially has everything you could want from a computer in a small tablet device.

The Archos 9 Tabelt PC is a combination between a tablet device and a PC because it allows you to use things like Flash in addition to streaming movies, surfing the Internet and playing music all at the same time. The ability to use Flash is something not offered on the Apple iPad and it gives you the ability to play games with your friends online for free in addition to viewing many websites as they were intended to be view just as they look on your home desktop.

Another great feature about the Archos 9 Tabelt PC is that the back of the device has a stand attached to it for a nice viewing angle. This device has a 10 inch screen and is just over 1 pound meaning that you will be using this device to watch movies all of the time. The stand feature allows you to watch movies during a flight or share images with friends easily. It also runs software like Microsoft Word and Excel and there is no lag between the programs. There is a 1.3 MP webcam and it also plays high definition videos.

The Archos 9 Tabelt PC has a large and very colorful touch screen that it easy to use. It runs on Windows 7 and costs $550 and I loved all of these things. However, the problem was that the touch screen is not very responsive and often does not work as you would like and this can be annoying. It does multitask but the battery life is only 2.5 hours during usage and this means the tablet often randomly dies and this made me want to find a better tablet device.
