Are You Cut Out for Working at Home?

This article is for the person out there who is contemplating quitting their job to work at home. Because it isn't easy. In fact, it's a lot easier to just get a job. Working at home is hard, and it isn't for everyone. You might miss the social interaction of a regular company. You might not have enough self motivation to get started, and to finish through on projects that you've assigned for yourself. You might not have the self discipline to actually do any work. You might just be lazy.

But there is hope, even for undisciplined, lazy people. I am often one of those people, yet I make money from home. I'm just not lazy ALL THE TIME. Just make sure you chose work for yourself where it's ok to be undisciplined and lazy. Like me, you can write articles for a living, as long as you don't take assignments, and just choose websites where you can write, or not, as you please. Sites like Hubpages, Infobarrel, or Associated content.

If you were to set up a business where you have customers to take care of, or assignments to get in on time, then of course you would need an entirely different set of skills and personality. You would need more discipline and dedication.

This is the beauty of working at home. You make it work for you. Choose a type of work that suits your personality. The ONLY requirement to work at home is just that you take ACTION for what you want to do. You set things up the way it will work for you.

If you want to work at home, don't let anyone tell you you can't. Because if you want to, then you can do anything if you work for it hard enough.

Just don't quit your day job until you have established yourself in your new work at home job, and you are sure of an income.

It's not for everyone, many people want to do this but few can.
