Are Dancing with the Stars' Jennifer and Brandy Safe or Part of Bombshell News?

Carol Whyte
Dancing With The Stars Season 11 has two shining stars in Jennifer Grey and Brandy, especially in regard to dancing talent and ability. Yet, like most past seasons of DWTS, shocks and surprises (along with abundant critique and downright contempt) have been expressed over the bewildering eliminations of Audrina Patridge and Rick Fox in the past two weeks.

And what does that fact have to do with steady performers Jennifer and Brandy?

It's simple. Arguably, Patridge and Fox exhibited higher technical skills and dancing ability than perhaps Bristol Palin, Kurt Warner and Kyle Massey. However, the eliminations of Patridge and Fox serve as an omen and a harbinger of what could happen to Jennifer Grey and Brandy.

On DWTS' performance night on Monday, Grey and Brandy tied for first place. No surprise there. The two women have consistently scored in the higher tiers and both appear to have a strong fan base supporting and voting for each.

Kurt and Kyle fell to the middle of the pack and Bristol the Pistol followed in fifth place with the lowest score of 47/60.

But it's Bristol who could be the component (and opponent) that provides for more bombshell news on Tuesday night's results show. In fact, while purely conjecture, it's Palin's 'walk softly and carry a big stick' modus operandi (or a rather large fan base) that could be responsible for knocking out one of the favorites (Brandy or Jennifer).

Moreover, the fact that Kurt Warner and Kyle Massey seem to be crowd favorites may not bode well for the supernova-like dancers Brandy and Jennifer.

One important thing to note about Dancing With The Stars (and most people who've watched it for a while already know this) is that it's simply not a predictable show. Guessing who stays and who goes, or trying to add rhyme or reason is like finally finding the answer to one of life's great mysteries.

if ABC want to salvage an entertaining show they have to figure out a way to get the Palin girl off the show immediatly. This has become a farce, Curt Warner, was much better as was Rick Fox than this slow, off beat, no sense of music, awkward, unpleasant personality who is still plodding doggedly, looking rather silly . . .ABC please figure out a way, this is beyond redemption . . .

DWTS is not a venue to showcase dance ability, the format favors heavy-bevies like Crystall Palin with a senseless fan-base who cannot discern or distinguish talent and beauty for petty partisanship. I for one will not watch this show anymore in the future . .

I am in complete shock tonight. WHY is Bristol Palin in the semi-finals? Why were Brandy and Max in jeopardy?? Something is VERY amiss here. Kurt was WAY better, animated, classy, and BETTER than Bristol, and yet he got booted. She is LIFELESS and does not have any dancing ability nor "presence". I am completely dumbfounded by all of this. Something very sinister is going on and it is not good. A tempest in a TEApot? Hmmm.

Brystall Palin should have been kicked off the DWTS show at least three weeks ago, with no musicality, rythmn or sense of timing, grace or shape she is still on the show. What is happening to this place???????? god hlep us.
