Are You a Duran Duran Fan?

Duranies are fans of the 80s hit band Duran Duran. They love Duran Duran and anything affiliated with the band or its members. They have many things in common and several characteristics and traits that let you know they are Duran Duran fans. Here are several ways to tell if you are a Duranie.

1.Do you love Duran Duran's music? If you have heard and love such songs as "Hungry Like the Wolf," "Rio," "Girls on Film," "Reflex," and many more of Duran Duran's greatest hits, then you're on your way to being a Duranie. If you listen to them at least once a day, you're getting even warmer. If you, however, know the names of all their albums and own all of their cds, records, cassettes, and every demo they have ever produced, then you're a flaming hot Duranie for sure.

2.Do you know the words to all of their songs? If you happen to know the lyrics to many or all of Duran Duran's songs, chances are you're probably a little Duranie in the making. If you recite lyrics from their music all day long and mention Duran Duran, Simon LeBon, John Taylor, Nick Rhodes, Andy Taylor, or Roger Taylor several times a day and love talking about them all the time, you have all of the symptoms of a hopeless Duranie. In fact, if you even knew what a Duranie was before being told, then you probably are one!

3.Do you participate in Duran Duran online communities? If you are one to frequent Duran Duran bulletin boards and discussion forums, especially on a weekly or daily basis, then you must love Duran Duran. If your photobucket account is filled with pictures of the band, then you're probably a Duranie. If you have favorited websites dedicated to Duran Duran, Simon LeBon, Nick Rhodes, Andy Taylor, or Roger Taylor, you certainly have the appearances of a Duranie. You are definitely a Duranie if your myspace profile is completely covered with Duran Duran pictures and maybe even a Duran Duran layout from a website such as www.profilecreations.com, which specializes in fan layouts such as Duran Duran myspace layouts and Phantom of the Opera layouts.

4.Have you been to Duran Duran concerts? If you've been to any, many, or all of Duran Duran's concerts then you are most definitely on your way to becoming a Duranie. If you'd do anything to go to a Duran Duran concert or meet one or all of the band members, then you are a Duranie for sure. If you have, in fact, met any of the members then you are a very lucky Duranie indeed and probably brag about it to all the other envious Duranies who would give anything for such an opportunity.

If you do any or all of these things, then congratulations! More likely than not, you are a Duranie, a true, dedicated Duran Duran fan.
