Are You Itching Down There? You Could Be Having a Candida Yeast Infection!

Candida yeast infection is one of the most common causes of vagina itchiness in women. In fact, studies show that all women would at least have one candida yeast infection in her lifetime. Some infection would be very mild that it might go unnoticed while there are some infections that are also serious and may cause pain and discomfort on women especially when she passes urine or is having sex.

According to studies, the yeast bacterial is usually present in small quantity especially in the vaginal regions. When the yeast bacteria are just small in number, it will not bother the person. However, as the bacteria increases, a woman may start to feel that burning and itching sensation in her vaginal. Sometimes that itching could be so persistent that a woman would want to scratch herself even in public. To avoid the embarrassment of scratching yourself in public, you should learn how to control the growth of candida yeast bacteria in your body.

How to control the growth of candida yeast growth in your body:

The candida yeast bacteria would thrive in tight and damp places thus the vaginal area is often the best place fro it to multiply. To prevent the increase of the bacteria in your vaginal area, make sure that you practice proper hygiene. You should always clean yourself thoroughly everyday to prevent bacteria from multiplying and causing you some discomforts. When cleaning yourself, do not use any harsh soaps or detergents. Always remember that your vaginal area is very sensitive and you could end up irritating yourself further if you use harsh or strong soaps. If you have to use soaps, use those soaps with low PH level. Note also that it is not a good idea to use douches. Although you may have heard that douches could remove the odor of you vagina, it will also dry you down there and would cause some irritation.

Since candida yeast bacterial would thrive in tight areas, you should make it a point to wear roomy clothing. Although those tight fitting clothing would look great on you, try not to wear them too often. If you have to wear tight fitting clothing, make sure that you make it a point to clean yourself every now and then. If you star feeling damp down there, you better change your underwear immediately to avoid infection. Also, try to wear only cotton panties instead of polyester or nylon. If you want to wear nylon pantyhose, try to find those panty hose that uses cotton in the crouch area.
