Are Kat Von D and Jesse James Dating, as Sandra Bullock's Adoption is Finalized?

Kat Von D and Jesse James are the rumored scandalous Hollywood couple of the day. Both Kat Von D and Jesse James are reality TV shows because of their talents - Kat a tattoo artist and Jesse James a bike builder. Of course we all know that the famous bike builder had an even more famous wife, and their ever-so-scandalous divorce happened right after her epic Academy Award win.

Yes, Sandra Bullock. The world feels sorry for her, although she's got some good news - her adoption of her son Louis was finalized as of last week. It's official, she's a mommy. She and Jesse James had started proceedings before the Oscar season, and she's been caring for the boy since January.

In the midst of her happiness, there is a glimmer of scandal still looming. The celebrity rumors point to Kat Von D and Jesse James dating.

Now, I watch LA Ink and I do like Kat's work (although I have zero tattoos). I felt sorry for Kat when she was on Miami Ink because clearly she didn't fit in the South Beach scene (and neither do I). However, now she's rumored to be dating Jesse James and I find that rather gross.

Let's go back a few months, shall we. While Sandra Bullock was filming "The Blind Side", Jesse James was allegedly having an affair with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, an inked up stripper. There are also lots of other allegations that came forth - sort of like a mini-Tiger Woods scandal. All the women had two things in common: they were busty, and they had tattoos.

So Kat Von D has the appearance of Jesse James' type. She's got the tattoos. She's got the body, and the attitude. So why is it a scandal?

Sandra Bullock. Although both James and Bullock have said they move on, it's hard to separate what happened. It's like all of Hollywood should shun Jesse James and embrace Sandra.

So IF the rumors about Kat Von D and Jesse James are true (Kat denies the claims) and IF they date and IF Jesse James goes out on her, I find it very unlikely that the media will feel as sorry for her as they did Sandra Bullock.
