Are the Legendary Couple Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog Heading for a Divorce?
Hollywood and Adoring Fans Are Stunned at Today's Announcement (Spoof Piece)
In breaking news, the daughter of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy has come forward to announce that she is the offspring of the glamorous porker, but she claims her father is not Kermit the Frog. Kermit the Frog the crooner of chart reaching hits like the dreamy soft "Rainbow Connection" and the soul searching hit "It's Not Easy Being Green" was also the first frog to disprove the myth that frogs could not ride bicycles.
Miss Piggy, who has long been linked in song, story and film to the dashing green prince charming, is not pulling the wool over anyone's eyes anymore. The speculation is now fact.
Fuzzy Pig agreed to have full blood tests performed and said to the press in a meeting early this morning," Tests results were returned with 99 percent accuracy saying my daddy, Kermie is not in fact my birth father. I have often wondered why I bear no resemblance whatsoever to him. I favor my mother's side of the family."
The curly haired Miss Pig went on to say, " This will not change my relationship with my daddy, but he and I felt we must be forthright with his fans and the public and clear up the rumors that have been circulating for so long."
The neighbors reported seeing Kermit chasing Miss Piggy with a golf club as she tried to drive off earlier this morning. When the police arrived to investigate, they called the local paramedics on finding Kermit was a little blue over the incident. They were concerned about his peculiar color.
Although she has not disclosed who her birth father is, rumors are circulating wildly around Hollywood today. Fuzzy Pig bears an uncanny resemblance to the long time friend and co-worker of Miss Piggy and Kermit, Fozzie Bear. Always present at family functions, Fozzie's corny humor may mask a deeper secret.
Miss Piggy could not be reached for comment.
