Are Paid Surveys a Scam?

Paid Surveys Offer You the World, but Do They Really Mean It?

Scary Good
If you were to type into a Google search, paid surveys, I guarantee that millions of hits would come up. They only problem is that are any of these sites actually worth it. If you were to click on one, you would see that they offer you the world. They tell you that you can first sign up for free. Then they tell you that they will send you hundreds of surveys for you to complete, worth a minimum amount which usually looks pretty good. They then tell you that you can also win in special opportunities they enter you in for every time you complete a survey, the only problem is, will they actually give you all of this?

Paid surveys really don't lie to you. They tell you it is free to sign up, which usually it is. They tell you they will send you a lot of different surveys for you to fill out, which they do. They tell you that they will enter you into contests for surveys you fill out, which they will. The only problem is that they tweak the way they do everything. They can't really tweak the signing up for free part, but if they charged you they know no one would join, unless they were offering something special. They make money for getting you to sign up, and possibly through advertisements on their site that they hope you will click.

The second you sign up is when you are going to start to run into the scams that paid surveys are. First they are going to tell you that they will send you hundreds of e-mails for different paid opportunities. They will send you a lot of different surveys but the surveys usually won't work. What I mean here is that they tell you that you don't qualify once you start. They ask you a few questions off the start and then tell you you don't qualify. No matter how you answer you usually get a message that says you do not qualify. They could offer a survey that says it targets middle aged pregnant women, and ask you off the start if you are middle aged and pregnant. You could answer yes to both of these questions, and these surveys would still turn you down.

Now not all of the surveys will turn you down, but this is also part of their plan. These surveys that actually allow you to finish them usually only amount to points on the website that enter you into drawings that don't really exist. Many sites tell you that they have a special points system that you can earn on through their surveys. These points usually mean entry's into drawings that they supposedly offer. The only problem is that no one ever wins these surveys, so you just happened to fill out a survey for nothing.

If you haven't already noticed, I am not a big fan of paid surveys. I have been scammed multiple times, and have finally realized that these surveys are just scams. These sites offer to give you the world, and then slowly you begin realize they had some fine print that they weren't showing you. The only thing that paid surveys are good for, which really isn't good for you, is spam. You can expect to get a lot of spam from these sites. In this spam will be surveys, but like I said you won't be able to qualify for them.

I did some surveys for awhile, but the pay was baby and they took always to mail out checks. That was aloof one aggregation though, so maybe there are bigger ones out there. make money from home online

YES, there are lots of scams, and many of them include data entry jobs, and surveys, since they are the most popular choices. If you are interested in online jobs, visit my blog where you can find a list of jobs i have reviewed and listed.

I did some surveys for awhile, but the pay was small and they took forever to mail out checks. That was just one company though, so maybe there are better ones out there.

I have used five different paid survey sites that have sent me cash, gift certificates or Paypal money. They aren't all scams. If you get referred to a site by someone who has nothing to gain, chances are it is legit.
