Now that the economy is in a bad away, we want to find ways to save money. If you look at the things we already have, you may se that you can save a lot just by eliminating waste. Just walk through your house and see what you have been throwing your money away on. For example, extended warranties may not be worth the money. They can cost from five to hundreds of dollars. The majority of the tie, if they become defective it is usually during the manufacture's warranty or long after the extended warranty end. Put that money away and save it for repairs.

Another is gym fees. You should not legally commit yourself to mandatory fees each month that you don't even use. This is obligation for at least two to three years. You can walk, jog, and run for free in your neighborhood. Or if you want, join a month to month gym which has no contract to bind you to. Fast food runs us another way to waste money. People spend $3 to $4 for a cup of coffee every day. Even a morning stop at McDonalds every morning can cost a pretty penny at he en of the month. This can run up to $80 a month. Instead bring a bagged lunch with you when leave in the morning. Do you buy ringtones and cell phone applications? That can easily cost from $2 to $3 a tome, or $10 a month. You should search for free ringtones and applications. Check ones that match with your phone and service provider. Try phonezoo.com or Myxer.com Also you might make your own ringtone using an MP3.

Be careful with late fees and over the limit fees from your bank. Make payments on tie to avoid those. Sometimes they will waiver the fee once if this is your first time fee. Landline phones have extras that you might be paying unknowingly. Check to see if you have call forward or call waiting, etc. This can cost a lot when added up per month. Beware of unnecessary car rental insurance. You may b adding up to $30 dollars a day more. Some credit cards offer rental insurance as a perk. Check with them and see. Your car insurance policy might cover third party liability. Check them also. Just because you bought a new computer you don't have to spend a fortune on software. There's a lot of freeware that you can get. Go to FreewareHome.com for a list of programs that are free. Unlimited texting plans are another way to waste money. Plans can run as much as $15 a month. Stick to limited text.

Bottled water can cost a pretty penny. Water is around a dollar a bottle. If you drink two a day, that is $14 a week. Tap water is only a few pennies a month and has fluoride and calcium added. If you don't like the taste, try using a faucet filter or filter pitcher. Music Downloads are $.99 a pop. There are ways to get free music. It' s legal and easy. Go to classiccat.net or Rhapsody.com and look for free downloads. If you like country try countryweekly.com.
