Are You in Search of Natural Anxiety Attack Treatments? They Can Be the Key that Unlocks Natural Anxiety Cures!
Are you wondering about the effectiveness of prescription medication for your anxiety attacks? Have you heard about natural anxiety treatments and wonder if they can actually help?
Those are very good questions.
First of all, the prescribed meds just cover up the symptoms of your attacks. Natural treatments get to the real root of the problem and solve it. Not only that, but the natural way is very healthy and does not have the many side effects of the meds.
You also have the chance to not only lessen or cure your anxiety, but to improve your overall life as well. A perfect combination don't you think?
In our "modern day" society, anxiety attacks are increasing and becoming a problem for so many individuals. It is very widespread so you can rest assured that you are not alone. Why is it so widespread you might ask?
Many things actually, but a few of the major things are:
Poor diet
Too much stress
Lack of sleep
Atmospheric toxins
Sedentary lifestyles
Wouldn't it be a good thing if you didn't have to go see your physician? Luckily you don't have to. You can treat your anxiety attacks on your terms, in the comfort of your own home and in a lot of cases, even better than your doctor can. Would you like to know how?
If you don't know, anxiety and panic attacks happen when areas of your brain along with your nervous system get into what the professionals call a "sympathetic dominant state". In other words, both the brain and the nervous system are experiencing too much stimulation with not enough rest. Getting our bodies back into balance will definitely help us conquer that anxiety enemy.
How do we do that you may ask?
It's not all that difficult really. We just need to learn about a few things like:
Controlling your thoughts
How to change our diet
Train ourselves to get some simple exercise (walking more helps)
Relaxing completely
How to get better quality sleep
Before you start getting overwhelmed, it only takes a few simple lifestyle changes to accomplish the above. You don't have to do everything all at once either. Just take things "one step at a time".
Going into detail about all of the above is beyond the scope of this article, but future articles will address them.
Let's briefly take a look at the minor changes in your diet. Things like:
Reducing the amount of coffee you drink
Reducing the amount of alcohol you consume
Drink more water (adding flavorings is OK)
Eat more protein (protein helps build and repair neurotransmitters, the ones that keep us calm)
Consume more fruits and veggies (provides us with alkaline minerals)
Just a quick note on exercise, sleep, and relaxation:
As far as exercising goes, simple works. You don't have to have a fancy gym membership. Park further out in the lot when you shop. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. A quick walk around the block. Simple things like that go a long way to have anxiety burned out of your system.
Relaxation can be done simply as well. Take 10 deep breaths while sitting down. Playing some of your favorite music. If you have one, sit in your hot tub for half an hour. Have your significant other give you a massage (this can have very nice side effects ... :). When you do just these simple things, your nervous system heals and becomes more balanced.
Quality sleep is a foreign concept to many people, maybe even you, but is so vital to your healing and overall well being. It's simple really. Just doing the following helps:
get on a regular sleep cycle (go to bed at relatively the same time every night and awaken the same time every morning)
if you need to, listen to some relaxing music with ear buds as you sleep
for those who need complete darkness and quiet, use a sleep mask and earplugs
This article has become quite long. Thank you for reading this far. Everything above works to improve, strengthen, and balance your nerves. One other thing you need to learn is how to control your thought processes.
When you are able to do that, you can stop anxiety attacks in their tracks and give you both security and peace of mind. You can learn how to do that by clicking the following link:
