Uggs are Not Recommended During Pregnancy
Uggs are not thought to be the safest footwear option for anyone because they do not offer very much support. For women who are pregnant, this problem is of even greater concern due to weight gain. Ankle, muscle, and ligament strains are more likely to affect pregnant women. If you decide to wear Ugg boots during pregnancy, you are ultimately putting your own comfort at risk. You will be more likely to suffer from foot, ankle, and leg pain than if you were to choose a pair of more comfortable shoes.
If you love Uggs and cannot bear to give them up during pregnancy, the best thing that you can do is choose the right pair. Be sure to take a close look at the type of Uggs that you are trying on before determining if they are an ideal option during pregnancy. Consider choosing a pair of cold weather Ugg boots, which have a sturdier sole and are designed for practical use. Many Uggs are designed merely for comfort, which is why their soles are flat and not much different from flip flops.
Choosing Boots During Pregnancy
As mentioned before, the best thing that you can do is choose a pair of boots which are designed for practical, outdoor use instead of a pair of boots which are designed for comfort alone. This is often the difference between choosing a pair of quality boots versus a pair of slipper-like boots.
Another thing to keep in mind is that booties or other high-heeled boot styles are not suitable for women during pregnancy. If you choose a pair of boots with a heel, it is ideal to opt for a heel which is wide, chunky, and on the shorter side. Boots which have high heels are not an ideal option for pregnant women because, like Uggs, they do not offer maximum support during pregnancy.
Uggs can be a suitable choice for women during early pregnancy. Once you are in late pregnancy and have gained a lot of weight, you are likely to find that Uggs will be uncomfortable. While Ugg boots or slippers may be comfortable enough to wear around the house or in your backyard, they are unlikely to offer enough support if you are on your feet for long periods of time.

You made some great points, all of which I agree with :D
I did not know that Uggs are not recommended but thanks for info:)
Awesome! Thanks =0)
Very good info!
I must admit that this is a subject I've not really given much thought to. But it does remind me of a story I heard from my mum about my aunt. She was wearing high heels when she was pregnant with my cousin and she slipped and fell. So I do think that comfort should come before style. There's plenty of time to wear UGGS postpartum.
