Are We All Subject to Too Much Advertising?

These Days You Are Lucky If You Can Go Anywhere Without Visualizing, or Listening to Some Sort of Advertising

Advertisements are everywhere. If you turn on the TV you could switch between only a few channels and find a commercial within 10 seconds, if the station you already had on didn't have one on it. When you get in the car and turn on the radio you can't get away from all the advertisements. While in the car you can't drive anywhere without passing a billboard or some sort of other advertisement. When you surf the net you can't go to any site with out seeing something, either Google or others. What does all this babbling mean? It means that we are all subject to too much advertising. The question is will it ever change; will we ever be subject to less or even no advertising?

People advertise for one common goal, money. Money is what fuels everything. With it you can do what you would like, without it you wish you could get some. Obviously everyone love to make money, and this is why people advertise. People or companies advertise their websites, their companies, their products, and anything else you can think of. If they get you interested then they have won. If you hear an advertisement and head to the website for example, then the advertisement was successful.

Advertising for a website is for one reason, and I bet you can guess. Yes that's correct, money. When people advertise for their website they are trying to get traffic for a couple of different reasons. The first being that they can throw more advertising on their site for other people and make money off of. The second is that they are trying to sell you a product. If you head to their site it means you have an interest in what they are selling. Their advertisement has succeeded greatly of you purchase something, but even if you don't they will still be happy with the results.

Advertising for websites is not the only advertising out there, as everyone is subject to it. Other people advertise to get you to go to their stores for example. If a grocery store advertises about their sales or possibly a new product they offer, and that advertisement catches your ears then they will definitely make a profit. You have to figure that if the advertisement caught your attention it will definitely catch the attention of others. There are many different reasons for advertising besides websites and grocery store sales, but they are all for the exact same reason. Money!

Will advertising ever go away, or will we ever be subject to less? This is a question I would love to see answered, but we can only all speculate. I would assume that most likely advertising will not decrease, it will actually increase, and we will be subject to even more. As more and more people start to want to make money in different ways, especially through the internet, we will start to see more advertising. Advertising is here to stay, and everyone knows it. I can speak for quite a lot of people though when I say that I wish we were subject to a lot less however.
