So, I asked myself, what is the root of the problem? Is it pride? Laziness? Or just plain old fashioned irresponsibility? Is everyone too important to pick up after their furry companion, because, if so, then maybe we are too important to understand the expectations that come with being responsible pet owners?
And, what does that say about how this town and its citizens are valued? It's time to clean it up and clear a path to our beautiful parks and playgrounds. Summer fun is around the corner, I don't spend one day of it in a "poopy" disposition.
Now, to give the City a little credit, there is the one potty bag dispenser at Riverfront Park, but there needs to be more. At least one in every park and, perhaps, on the large chunks of city property around the town. But, it all comes back to...
