COTTAGE GROVE- Though I embarking on a stinky subject, it should be taken quite seriously in this town. I find it nearly impossible to walk through town without having to watch the sidewalk for, what my husband lovingly refers to as "landmines". While, dogs aren't expected to "hold it", their owners should have enough responsibility to.

So, I asked myself, what is the root of the problem? Is it pride? Laziness? Or just plain old fashioned irresponsibility? Now, to give the City a little credit, there is the one potty bag dispenser at Riverfront Park, but there needs to be more. At least one in every park and, perhaps, on the large chunks of city property around the town. But, it all comes back to...

Are we "Man" enough to carry a potty bag for our pooch?
