Arena Points Calculator-30 Reasons Why You Need an Arena Points Calculator

Michael Grisso
If this is your first time coming across information about an arena points calculator, there are about thirty reasons why you need it. See, while duels and achievements in battlegrounds are based around total amounts, your arena stats are a bit different.

Even though it counts wins and loses, the way you progress with better armor and socketing options is through having a higher team and personal rating. All you have to do is reach a total rating of 1200 points and you will be able to get arena gear. The arena ratings formula is a little complex, but if you utilize an arena points calculator it can make everything a whole lot easier.

Personal and Team Arena Rating of 1200

Below you will find a list of a few items you can purchase with your honor points when you reach a 1200 personal and team arena rating.

Relentless Gladiator's Bracers of Triumph- These wrist guards offer 1082 armor, +76 Strength, +114 Stamina, and are equipped with an additional critical strike rating of 50, and a resilience rating of 50.

Relentless Gladiator's Bracers of Salvation- If you use mana and the majority of your dps come from spells then this is a better option. It offers +86 Stamina, +38 Intellect, +89 Spell Power, +50 Resilience, and an additional 25 mana per 5 seconds.

If you're not in arena gear yet, then you will definitely want to start purchasing some when you have enough honor points. We always recommend figuring on it costing about 50,000 HP (honor points) per piece. It will save you a lot of time going back and forth. There are 30 different pieces in Champion's Hall and Hall of Legends, and pretty much the same thing options in the sewers of Dalaran.

What Can the Arena Points Calculator Do?

Since you must have at least 10 matches a week and play in 30% of those, it's important to keep track of your stats. This will allow you the knowledge ahead of time to know what is needed to reach a certain end of the week rating. So let's say you want to reach the first set of gear at a rating of 1200. You can head to the arena points calculator, punch in your current points.

If you want to see the exact formula you can see it in a minute, but in order to achieve a rating of 1200 you will need 245 points. This is based off of 3v3 matches, but your results may be different if you're involved in a team that does 2v2 or 5v5.

In the end it's about bragging rights, pride, new gear, and even money if you do well in the occasional arena tournament. If you want to learn more the best place to go is the Arena Points Calculator website.
