Ariat Work Boot Review: Everyone Should Own a Pair

Ariat work boots are comfortable, stylish, affordable, and made to last. I love my Ariat work boots. They have to be one of the best investments I've made in years. When I set out to purchase a good pair of work boots I have to admit that money was an issue. I didn't want to sacrifice quality or comfort, but at the same time I really didn't want to spend more than about $100, and Ariat work boots came in with a solid "two thumbs up," meeting all of my required tick marks on my checklist, right at around $90 after taxes.

Construction: the boots I chose are constructed of all real leather, save for the rubber non-skid sole. B ecause of the type of work I do, I chose a "cowboy" (tapered toe) design with a 90 degree angle heel. Climbing ladders, and "rafter running" in attics, can sometimes get one into some pretty tight spots, and I cant count the number of times having that tapered toe wedged into a spot a round-toed boot would not fit, literally saved my butt. Feeling the 90 degree angled heel lock on to a ladder rung or attic rafter, and feeling the non-skid sole solidly grip the shingles as I climbed up on to a roof definitely added to my confidence, knowing I didn't have to worry about falling due to shoddy boots.

Comfort and Support: These boots "wore comfortable" from day one, and once I "broke them in", I found myself wearing them everyday, because they were that comfortable. Lace-up boots are the best. You can lace them any way you like. If you're in a hurry you don't have to lace them "all the way up," rather just wrap the laces cross-wise once around the boot, make a bow, and go. For added ankle support lace them all the way up and adjust to your personal comfort/need.

Stylish: This ended up being an added perk for me. This boots just plane look good. They have a simple style and grace to them. As long as you give these boots a little TLC (cleaning, and polishing) once in a while, you can pretty much wear them out anywhere. Well, maybe not to a black tie formal, but hey, you can't have everything.

I love these boots. I find that I wear them about 90% of the time these days. They are comfortable in pretty much any "everyday" situations, and I have the confidence that I can walk, climb, crawl anywhere I'd like to go, and I don't have to give a second though to "oh, do I have the right foot wear on to do that?"
