The zodiac sign of Aries begins spring gardening under the element of fire and regarded in astrology as adventurous, active and outgoing.

The Aries Gardener

The Aries gardener is a fiery, energetic and quick individual that likes spicy, invigorating plants and foods. Growing onions, garlic, leeks, cayenne peppers and tomatoes in the garden is an easy task for Aries. Red is the favorite color and any flower or fruit of this color attracts. Red bee balm, poppies, zinnias and celosia are particularly appealing. The first sign of the zodiac loves to brave new frontiers so the newest plant varieties to come to the local nursery will quickly find a home in the Aries garden.

The Aries Cook

Spicy, colorful and variety of foods delight the Aries cook so using garden vegetables in a colorful spaghetti sauce delight the pallet. Serving guests spicy and colorful food delights the Aries host or hostess and guests often look forward to the settings and delectable tastes with a table full of appetizers. Dinner parties have lengthy quest lists and the enthusiastic diners will arrive early to see the latest display of colors and foods. The Ram hates bland, so when cooking for Aries, the hotter, the better!

Aries Personality Traits

Aries people are independent, outgoing and assertive, although surprisingly trusting. Faith in life and futures remains untouched by hardship and they have a wonderful ability to bounce back. Their gift is that they are always children at heart and the world is always a magical place for them. Many famous sports people are born under this sign. Women Aries are forceful, dynamic, aggressive and frequently find themselves in a dilemma in romantic relationships.

Aries can be a confusing sign because there is a complex combination of strong masculine and feminine expressions. Because of the energy surrounding the Aries woman, it creates some of the most interesting women in the world, who are adventurous, independent and competitive. It also tends to make them forthright.

Aries are "doers" rather than "talkers". They are the impulsive, act first, ask questions or have doubts later. Their lives are often filled with dramas and cannot adapt to any kind of restriction, especially possessive relationships. The ability to live life close to the edge provides real experience to recall. Aries people love challenges and will rush in where angels fear to tread.

Aries life pursuit is "the thrill of the moment" and secret desire is "to lead the way for others".
