Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health Clinic: Better Than the Pros

Need to go to the dentist, but worried about the money? One option is to find a dental school willing to take you on as their guinea pig. Actually, many dental schools offer higher-quality service than regular dentists. Every aspect of your care is monitored and expertly managed by experienced instructors. Before I discovered the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, I spent way too much money on dental care. I spent $7,000 to get three root canals, four crown and numerous x-rays. At that point, they told me the rest of the dental care would cost about $3,000 more! Since I could not afford it, they told me about the Arizona School of Dentistry in Mesa, Arizona.

The Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health has two clinic locations in Arizona. There is the east side clinic located in mesa and the west side location out of Glendale. I went to the location at 5855 E. Still Circle in Mesa, Arizona 85206. This is a university for dentists, with the dental clinic onsite. In the initial appointment they check your medical history, x-rays, examine your teeth and interview you about your dental needs. They also decide whether you will be accepted as a patient. It is not hard to get accepted but they want to make sure that you will commit to following through on the treatments prescribed. In addition, you must commit to coming to the dental clinic a minimum of three times a month. When my initial appointment was complete, they informed me that I would be contacted between 2-8 weeks to let me know if I had been accepted. The Arizona School of Dentistry called me back in 2 weeks to accept me into the program.

At this point, I was assigned to my own personal dentist and set up a new appointment. On the second appointment, they will do a more thorough exam and decide on a complete treatment plan. The treatment plan will need to go though a process of approval by the Arizona School of Dentistry. This is just to verify the student dentist has made the most appropriate dental treatment plan. After that, it is just a matter of showing up to all of your appointments. The biggest drawback would probably be the waiting time to get accepted and get started with dental treatments. I think it is worth it. They are charging less than half of what you would normally pay. In addition, they have all the latest technology, equipment and dentists with up to date training.

My only regret is that I didn't find the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health sooner.
