Arlington Cinema Draft House is an Alamo Drafthouse style restaurant, bar, Movie Theater, performance space, and comedy club all rolled into one. Most often they are showing last run theatrical movies before they hit DVD, but they also have special screenings and comedy performances. If you're looking for a relaxing evening with drinks, dinner, and a movie then this place is everything you need.
How it works
It's pretty simple you can either buy your tickets in advance or at the door. If you do get them at the door arrive early because shows do sell out because seating is limited. Please bring cash to this place because the door only accepts cash and inside they only split checks two ways. If you do need a check split it will also take them forever. While you're selecting your seat know that the black chairs in the front are a lot more comfortable. The seating is just like a restaurant with small tables for your food. You have a small orange flag to attract a server. A menu should already be at your table. Know that the mixed drinks are awful here and you are best off sticking with beer.
Review
If you want to do a lot of drinking then order a lot in advance because your server does not come by often. They pay no attention to the orange flags so don't bother using them. The staff will often forget your order so be sure to tell it to them every time you see them. If you walk up to the bar they will tell you to wait for your server. The service here is probably the worst I've ever had and it gets worse every time I go. I would suggest bringing a flask and ordering two pitchers when you get there. By the time you're finished the server should be messing up your check.
Food/Drinks
The food is a tad over prices for what it is. Do not get any of the pizzas. They are greasy and doughy and often undercooked. The salads are bad and if you don't ask for dressing on the side they will drench you salad in it. I would suggest sticking with appetizers and burgers. The drinks are usually very bad, but the beer is fine. Be sure to order as soon as you get there because service is very slow.
