Armchair Quarterback Super Bowl Survival Kit - Deluxe Party Favors
Deluxe Party Favors for Your Super Bowl Party
As a host or hostess you will want your party to be fun and memorable so that friends and family will want to come back to your party the next year. One super idea is to give all your guests custom deluxe party favors. You will want to make sure your guests RSVP to your party so that you can make sure you have favors for everyone. Once you have your list of guests, you will want to find out what each of your guests beverage of choice is...their favorite beer, wine or juice for those that do not drink alcohol. Then buy a 6 pack of their favorite beer for each of your guests (or bottle of wine or couple of bottles or 6 pack of their favorite juice). If you have friends that like mixed drinks, for example if someone likes to drink Goose and Juice then you could purchase a mini bottle of Grey Goose and a small bottle of cranberry juice (or juice of their choice). Some mini bottles of alcohol can be hard to find at local liquor stores so you may want to plan in advance and shop on the Internet or ask your liquor store if they can order them for you.
Then purchase large bulk size bags of snacks such as pretzels, chips, beef sticks, cheese sticks, etc. Then purchase small Ziploc bags in sandwich and quart size. Divide the bulk snacks up between all the guests and place them in the Ziploc bags. Add individual packs of aspirin (for the hangover) and Tums (for the heartburn from all that yummy party food). You could also add extra things in the party favor bag such as a beer or wine bottle opener, key chains or other memorabilia with your guests favorite team logo on them, etc.
Now you will need something to put all the goodies in. You could just use large paper bags or if you have the extra money to spend buy personal size coolers for each guest. You can check the dollar stores for some cheaper coolers. If you decide to go with coolers try to find some in their teams' favorite colors. If you decide to go with a different type of container like a bag, box or tin like a empty gallon paint can, decorate the outside with wrapping paper, printed papers from the Internet or fabric with their favorite teams logos on it. Add a gift tag that says "Armchair Quarterback Super Bowl Survival Kit."
All your guests will have their own personal stash of drinks and snacks. You can still make other party favorites like wings, potato skins, pizza, etc.
